Compressed Air Conditioning -->Compressed Air Dryer

During the production of compressed air; some

It enters the compressor with (30-80%) relative humidity. As a result of the compression of the air, the compressor screw group reaches high temperatures and the resulting compressed air comes out of the compressor with almost 100% humidity.

Since the humid air coming out of the compressor will not be able to hold the water vapor in it and will condense at the slightest temperature drop, the compressed air required for the pneumatic drive of industrial equipment and machines cannot be used without removing the moisture in it. For this reason, the air coming out of the compressor must be dried. The moisture (water vapor) in the compressed air can be dried with an air dryer, which has two completely different technologically different methods.

Differences Between Dryer Types

* Gas Type Dryers It basically consists of the cooling gas cycle and heat exchanger. These equipment, also called refrigerated dryers in the market; It works according to the condensation principle by cooling the compressed air. Gas type dryers +3 ºC with +10 ºCIt can provide dew temperature between

* It has different drying technology used in more sensitive and critical applications Adsorption Type Dryers; It is also known as silica gel dryer, chemical dryer or desiccant dryer. This type of air dryers removes the moisture in the air by adsorbing it with the force of cohesion. Adsorption air dryers. -20 ºC with -70 ºCIt can provide dew temperature between

Hybrid Dryers it consists of a combination of gas and adsorption type dryers.
